vintage french chic ~~ au revoir 2013, bonjour! 2014

The year is swiftly coming to a close.  And while nothing monumental has happened–no big wedding was planned, no extraordinary vacations taken, no life altering events happened (and that can be a very good thing!)–it was overall a good year.  There’s no better way to reflect and remember than looking through the photo albums.

Although many beautiful moments were captured with photos, many were not–dinners with loved ones, plays with friends, parties and too many good-byes.  Always finding joy in the simple things makes me the happiest.  And I am already looking forward to the many beautiful moments of 2014.

Hope you all had a wonderful year.

  1. Yes a lovely recollection of 2013. We need un-monumental years to rest up for the future ones. Happy 2014 Heather x wendy
ps – I admire your ability to put those purses on Etsy. I’m so hot for major simplifying, cleaning and re-organizing I want to start today!

  2. The photos of the fountain and the hotel are gorgeous. I especially like the one of the mailbox, I have a bit of a thing about postboxes. Happy New Year Heather, give Rockefeller a hug from me.

  3. This was fun – to peruse through your year of photography. I am very drawn to the B&W pictures of snow. I’m just a bit nostalgic for cold weather (but not blizzards!). Merci for bringing beauty to our lives via your blog!
